Collaborate’s founder, Monique Rotik, leads our projects drawing on a network of trusted senior associates and specialist suppliers to deliver larger assignments. The Collaborate team are all senior research practitioners with experience across a wide range of research issues, methods and audiences.
We have a robust approach to project management and quality assurance, and the highest ethical standards, all of which govern how the team works together and the services we provide.
We like to think we bring all the expertise of a large research agency but with the agility and cost effectiveness that comes from being a small business.
Monique has been a market and social research practitioner for more than 25 years. She set up Collaborate Research in 2012, having previously worked at a senior level for leading research agencies both in the UK and Australia.
Monique is a true research all-rounder. She is equally comfortable using qualitative, quantitative and deliberative methods, and can draw on experience across a broad range of sectors, issues and research audiences.
Her research currently supports organisations primarily to develop policy, regulation, services and campaigns. She is a specialist in engaging with hard-to-reach and vulnerable audiences, and has a particular interest in applying learning from behavioural sciences to research.
Katie is an experienced qualitative researcher who has previously worked for research agencies as well as in public sector policy roles where she commissioned research studies and implemented their findings.
Katie is Collaborate Research’s Principal Research Associate and she has been involved in most of our studies since the company’s inception in 2012. She is trained in NLP and has a special interest in applying creative methods to our research.
In addition to her experience in qualitative research, Katie has a strong track record as a strategic consultant and project manager. She continues to develop and deliver consultation programmes, creative concept development, business plans and sustainability strategies.
