Citizens Advice asked Collaborate Research to determine what choices consumers expect and need in the transition to low carbon home heating given the UK Government’s target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The research comprised a rapid evidence assessment, stakeholder interviews and qualitative/deliberative research with more than 60 consumers across England and Wales. We used a number of techniques to ensure participants could meaningfully engage with the topic and produced a video of the research sessions to help bring the findings to life. The research is due to be published shortly and it will be used by Citizens Advice to support its policy and campaigning work in this area.
A report based on our research is now published, along with edited video clips of participants which help bring the findings to life.
